We are excited to welcome you to this comfortable and newly renovated charming home in the perfect location if you're visiting Northern Illinois/Chicago. Come see why Waukegan is nicknamed "Green Town" and is home to some of the finest parks, ravines, and walking trails. With an incredible sandy beach, lakefront, galleries, breweries, restaurants, and more, it is definitely a place to check out! We are very close to Six Flags, Great Lakes Naval Base, and The Genesee Theatre too!
This is a beautiful home that we've just finished renovating. We have put so much thought into this renovation and made so many changes to the home that make it much more comfortable for families. With an added second full bathroom, and a large spacious kitchen open to the dining room, plus large patio doors that lead to a deck and the backyard, you will be so comfortable during your stay.
I live only a few blocks away and work just down the street from this location. I can help as needed anytime during your stay!
This home is located near the intersection of Jackson and Glen Flora Ave. in Waukegan in a charming neighborhood. There is beautiful Victory Park 3 blocks away with playgrounds, baseball fields, a walking path, and plenty of green space to run and play. We are half a mile from Vista East Medical Center. The Great Lakes Naval Base is 10 minutes away. Gurnee, Illinois is about 15 minutes away. Six Flags is 13 minutes from this home. We are about an hour away from Chicago and Milwaukee.
There is parking for 3 cars in the driveway. I recommend using a car to be able to access all of the Greater Chicagoland area, however there is public transportation available nearby. The PACE bus# 561 stops on Glen Flora Ave, which is 0.1 mile away or a 2 minute walk from the house. The Waukegan Metra Station is about 2.5 miles away and has trains throughout the day going to Chicago and all along the North Shore.
-No Smoking inside the home. If you smoke outside, do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. Use the waste receptacle provided.
-No vaping inside the home.
-No shoes in the house. Remove them at the door upon entering. Shoe rack is provided. House shoes/slippers are allowed.
-No parties. We have exterior security cameras and if we see more guests than you booked for, you will be charged a minimum $200 excessive cleaning fee.
-No pets. We have exterior security cameras and if we see a pet, you will be charged a minimum $200 excessive cleaning fee.
-Check-out is at 11am. If you stay later, you will be fined $50 per hour if you stay past 11am. Our cleaning teams arrive at 11 am because we have new guests arriving at 3pm. They need enough time to thoroughly clean the home.
