Share the road with horse-drawn carriages as you taste your way down the Shawnee Wine Trail (three miles), visit loved ones at Southern Illinois University (five miles), and hike Little Grand Canyon (seven miles) or one of the many other trails close by.
Blue Line Resort is a lovely cabin community located about four miles south of downtown Murphysboro. The grounds are a delight to return to each afternoon, offering a small pond, a dock with built-in benches where you can drop a fishing line, a gazebo with a swing, and a firepit where you can gather for stories and stargazing each evening. Communal laundry facilities are available as well.
Greet each day on your covered front porch, where you can sip your first cup of coffee, breathe in the crisp morning air, and admire the view of the pond. Back inside, you'll have everything you need to prepare breakfast in the kitchenette, including a fridge/freezer, a microwave, an air fryer, and double hot plates.
