The space
This is a second floor apartment on Sheridan Rd in North Chicago. You’ll enter from the wooden rear stairs, check in with an easy code, and enjoy your cozy apartment. Inside, theres a comfortable queen bed, a couch and tv sitting area and a big rug. The skylight and high ceilings add lots of natural light. The kitchen has an oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. Perfect for cooking for two or sitting down with some takeout.
Some details to note: this is an excellent value apartment in a 1907 building. With 100+ years of love, there are some quirks.
-The rear stairs are new and built to code, but they require a bit of effort: about 30 steps total
-The skylight provides excellent natural light, which brightens the apartment at the time of sunrise.
-Floors are even to walk across, but do have a slant.
Guest access
This is an entire studio apartment on the second floor of a 4 unit building with a retail store below. Your access is through a new wooden staircase on the rear of the building.
