Summary: We arrived later than anticipated. We were told to arrive before 2:00 am or our reservation would be lost. We made it by 1:00 am but were told the system was “doing its thing” so we couldn’t check in for another 15 minutes. It ended up being about 20 minutes. Customer service was lacking when we called to give the heads up that we’d be late, but in person it was much better. The hotel was booked full. When we got to our room, there was a very strong smell of animal urine in both the front room and the bedroom, and there were obvious large stains on the carpeted floor. We couldn’t be moved due to the hotel being at full capacity. The hotel is large and old. It looks like some things have been renovated in an attempt to make it look more modern, but it’s still a pretty rough facility. It served its purpose for us, but I would not return, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone.
