Escape to our beautiful waterfront getaway on Lake Martin! This cozy, single-level home is perfect for families, sleeping 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. Enjoy stunning views from the large screened porch, a gentle slope to the water ideal for all ages, and a calm slough for swimming and boating. Your unforgettable lake vacation starts here, complete with kayaks and a fire pit.
Relax in the shade in one of the hammocks or the swing. Plenty of room for parking. Bring your own boat and put in at boat ramp 5 minutes away and park your trailer at the house and boat at the dock. We also provide four adult kayaks and two kid kayaks and there are universal adult life vests but please bring correct size life vests for any kids.
There are two parking spots at the dock for your boat or a rental boat. Pontoon rentals at Harbor Pointe marina. 15 minutes by car and about 25 minutes by boat from the house.
Nearby Boat Ramps: Dare Park and Smith Mountain Landing
Only 2 minutes to the historic Smith Mountain Fire Tower and hiking trails. You can go up the restored tower for a beautiful view of the lake from the top.
**Seasonal Water Levels:** Please be aware that Lake Martin is operated by Alabama Power Company. They lower the water level by approximately 6 feet each winter, typically from mid-October to mid-March. During this off-season period, the water at our dock is too shallow to accommodate a boat.
However, the kayaks can still be launched and used, and this is a wonderful, peaceful time to enjoy the beautiful views and explore the local hiking trails.
*The pontoon boat is not for guest use. There are three exterior security cameras that view the front door, driveway, and boat house.
