Perfect location for your group's private getaway! The lodge sits on 122 acres bordering national forest on 3 sides where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, sledding, snow shoeing or just sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful mountain views! A private pond is located on the property where you can enjoy watching the wildlife.
The main floor of the lodge includes a huge great room with a gas fireplace and TV, a dining area with seating for 20 (extra chairs provided), a large, well-stocked kitchen with two of everything: ovens, sinks, dishwashers, cook tops (10 burner gas cook top and 5 burner electric) and refrigerators. The main floor also includes a l/2 bathroom and the master bedroom with its own full bathroom and private access to the deck and back sun room. The large deck with mountain and pond views and the gas grill are located off of the great room.
Upstairs are 5 bedrooms: The first bedroom, Deer Hill, has two twin beds; the Wolf Den bedroom has a king sized extra long bed. There is a bathroom in between these two bedrooms. Leopard Ledge bedroom has a queen sized bed and its own bathroom. The Elk bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the Fish bedroom on the end has a king sized bed with a bathroom between them. There is a small sleeping/sitting area (loft) outside of the Fish bedroom that has a full size futon and an ottoman that folds into a twin bed.
The basement has a small TV room with full size sofa sleeper and a small library (sitting room) with a full size futon. The Bear Bedroom in the basement has two full sized beds and its own bathroom and a steam shower. Across from the TV room is the Horse Corral Bedroom with 3 sets of bunk beds (one bed is full sized). The third bedroom in the basement, the Duck Room, has a queen sized bed and its own bathroom. You can walk outside from the basement to the shady patio with pond and mountain views that is equipped with a hammock and table, chairs and a firepit. There is also a hot tub out this door on the patio.
All of this within minutes of the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs that offers world class hot springs, golf, fishing, hiking, biking and skiing. You are also close enough for day trips to Mesa Verde Park, Navajo Reservoir, Durango/Silverton Railway and many other activities and attractions.
