20 minutes to O'hare International Airport, 38 minutes to downtown Chicago, and within 10 minutes of the Stonegate, Renaissance, Wojcik and Meridian Convention Centers.
The neighborhood is a quiet, very nice single family home neighborhood. We are close to two great forest preserves (Ned Brown and Paul Douglas) several shopping options, and my favorite patisserie/bakery.
The house was put together with the family or group in mind. It includes a laundry room, a 5th private bedroom in the finished lower level, dining room, 4k smart TV's with access to YouTubeTV, amazon prime subscriptions and more.
Foryour peace of mind, this is a CLEANINGCHEMICAL FREE HOME. All cleaning is performed with Norwex products, and Norwex products are provided For guests! In additionthe following precautions are employed before every reservation:
1. THOROUGH cleaning and disinfecting
2. Ozone shock treatment to help kill microbes and pathogens
3. UV air treatment
4. Hepa filter air filtration
5. Min. 24 hr. sealed isolation of the house
6. No-contact self check-in!
Guests have access to the entire house, including the basement and garage. The mechanical room is locked and accessible only to cleaners.
Although your host and co-host will be available if needed, this home is setup for simple and easy self-check in.
Things to be aware of so they do not negatively impact your stay!
1. The fenced in backyard is chainlink fence. There is clear view to/from the neighbors yards
2. Although we do provide a very stocked kitchen, if there are any specific items you need please reach out an ask! There are some things that you may miss, like plastic wrap or a food processor.
3. We usually do not provide refills on paper products or perishables(paper towels, toilet paper, coffees etc.) unless for long term reservations. We do however try to be generous in stocking the house so it is rare guests ever need to get their own!
4. For the health and safety of our cleaning team and guests, this is a Norwex-cleaned chemical free home. In order to protect that, house rules prohibits bringing any outside cleaning chemicals into the home without talking to your host!
Some of these products will be made available for your use, with instructions. If you are unfamiliar with mechanical cleaning with Norwex, there may be a (very small) learning curve to this. In addition to the instructions provided, your host is ALWAYS happy to answer questions via text and over the phone about this also.
