Moonrise Ridge is located just 2 miles from Dolly’s childhood home and represents the ridge that inspired her song, “My Tennessee Mountain Home.” Nestled in peaceful seclusion on Locust Ridge in Sevierville, Tennessee, this property is conveniently 20 minutes away from everything. Cal Ripken, Rocky Top Sports World, Dollywood, Ole Red's, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all within easy reach. The best part? You'll travel on less crowded mountain roads, ensuring a smoother journey wherever you go!
As you traverse the Little Pigeon River and wind through the rolling pastures of cattle along its banks, you'll arrive at the cabin, an oasis of quiet tranquility. The only neighbors you'll have are the native wildlife - bears, deer, birds, and other forest creatures. The breathtaking beauty of the flora and fauna at this property never ceases to amaze. Here, you'll be captivated by the river's melody, the mountain vistas, and the chorus of animal sounds.
Moonrise Ridge is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom new build featuring an indoor electric fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a fun loft game room with air hockey, a multicade, and Boss Toss – a cornhole game. The basement houses a unique karaoke stage – “Live, at Moonrise Ridge,” complete with a monthly competition for guests! A theater room with an 86” TV and 9 recliners ensures optimal viewing for sports or movie nights. Just remember to bring your streaming logins!
The main floor hosts a stunning master bedroom named Texas, boasting a King bed, ensuite bathroom, deck access, and an impressively large shower – because everything is bigger in Texas! Upstairs, you'll find two queen bedrooms sharing a bathroom, while the basement offers a bunk suite with two built-in twin over full bunks and a shared bathroom with the recreation area.
Outside, you can explore an acre and a half of spectacular property, complete with a fire pit and picnic tables for soaking up the mountain views. The back porch features a hot tub – the perfect spot to relax and listen to the whippoorwills or tree frogs serenade you. You also have a choice of a charcoal grill or gas grill for your culinary adventures.

We gladly welcome well-trained, housebroken dogs. They must be over 18 months old and vaccinated. $35 per dog per night. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to severe allergies. When making your booking, please provide the age, vaccination status, and breed of each dog, and confirm that there is no history of biting.
Please note that we do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to tongue and groove.
NOTE: Government ID required to be sent when rental agreement is signed for booking to be accepted. Primary renter must be age 25 or older, and must remain on site for the reservation term.
