Welcome to our thoughtfully designed River Home on a safe, quiet, private drive on the highly desired Rock River. Get ready to enjoy indoor-outdoor living at its finest. This pet and family-friendly space features a 6-person hot tub, furnished riverfront deck, game room w/ pool and darts, fire pit, and an ensuite-covered second-floor patio. Although this home is secluded, you're only 10 minutes from Anderson Japanese Gardens, SportsCore 1, and multiple fine dining options in downtown Rockford.
The Space:
Our beautiful river home has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need to cook from home and a new Keurig coffee maker. (We provide the coffee tabs.) Although this home is on a secluded road, it has fast enough wifi for the kids to stay connected and for adults to get some extra work done if need be. There are two smart TVs with ROKU (bring your own logins) and a top-of-the-line Sonos speaker. There are two full bathrooms that each include a shower. The upstairs bathroom does not have a door. Instead, we have a blackout curtain to provide ample privacy. This home has three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, one with a king bed and a pull-out day bed, and one with a full bed. The second bedroom upstairs is a walk-through bedroom through the master, with no door. Our couch on the first floor doubles as a sleeper sofa and pulls out to a queen bed. Enjoy unmatched views of the Rock River in front of a peaceful no-wake zone from our brand-new comfortable outdoor furniture. We also have a new grill and firepit that guests can access. We provide propane, but guests will be in charge of bringing their own firewood. Every piece of furniture in this home is brand new as of September 2023.
Guest access:
Guests will have access to 4 parking spots, two in our driveway and two directly across the street where we have overflow parking. The road, Country Club Beach, is very narrow, so please don’t park on the street. If you plan to bring more than four cars, please contact me ahead of time, and we will figure out an alternate parking solution. Guests will have direct access to the river from our floating dock. This dock is home-made, not built by a professional, so please use it at your own risk. Guests will have complete and private access to everything within the home and in our fenced in yard during their stay except for the garage which is being used for storage.
