The space
As the second home built on the lake and a former Miller family estate, this 100+ year old property exudes historic charm while also enjoying modern amenities. You will appreciate many unique historic features such as leaded and stained glass windows, antique Crystal chandeliers, custom woodwork and built-ins, ornate Orlandini plaster medallions and even an antique pull-chain toilet.
The home is designed for entertaining with two spacious living rooms each with gas fireplaces, a large sunroom with game tables and a bar, and a formal dining room with a dining table for 14 - all with gorgeous lake views. The sprawling kitchen features a Viking stove, massive quartz island, beautiful Kohler fixtures including a pot filler, breakfast nook, two dishwashers, two sinks, two refrigerators, and two pantries. Upstairs, you can wake up to lake views in the spacious master bedroom with adjustable king bed, gas fireplace surrounded by custom window seats, a large sitting room/office and large walk-in custom dressing closets. The en-Suite master bathroom features an oversized jacuzzi tub, shower with steamer, and double vanity sink. At the lake, enjoy the largest dock on the bay with option to bring your own boat (lift rated for up to 7500 lbs) or rent the home's 27' Bennington Pontoon. The beautifully landscaped yard has plenty of space for games, picnics and more as you take in the view. Up the gentle slope, there is a massive furnished deck that spans the length of the house. Adjacent to the house is a beautiful screened gazebo with a luxury Jacuzzi hot tub that offers gorgeous views of the stars at night. Also connected to the house is a poolhouse with large, heated pool and a second hot tub. The kids will enjoy the playground with rubber turf, swings, a slide, and lookout tower.
