Summary: The room was quite clean and the check-in was quick and courteous. There were books on local hikes, novels and children's books to borrow. The area offers amenities and walks in a natural setting. The only standout negative was the "breakfast". Nutrigrain bars and packets of Quaker oatmeal, with the flimsiest plastic utensils and (when I was there) no cups or bowls for any of it, was a disappointment (and would horrify anyone visiting from outside the US). A simple bowl of fruits, maybe some cereal and some real milk and juice (even in small, single-serving containers) would go a very long way towards improving the general impression without costing very much.
