Summary: We had a great time in Chicago using this apartment as our base. Our 4 year old now calls it “our Chicago home”! The apartment really feels like a home from home. It is very well equipped including cleaning products, full size appliances, good range of cooking equipment and books/games. The bedrooms are cosy and a good size - such comfy beds. We stayed with a 5 month old and a 4.5 year old. The apartment gave ample space for our family and enabled us to explore Chicago from a comfortable base. We liked the neighbourhood - it felt very safe, with plenty of playgrounds, close grocery stores and local restaurants. We used the bus network a lot - the 65 and 66 go from close to the apartment directly into downtown but it’s also easy to get an Uber if you prefer. Chicago itself is super family friendly and we really enjoyed our trip. The apartment host was responsive on messages and helpful - thank you.
