THE SPACE:
This lakefront house is now fully furnished with new, contemporary furniture. There is a queen bed in one room, and two twin beds in the other room. And, the spacious living room has a sofa bed, comfortable chairs, bistro rocking chairs and a big screen Roku TV with free Netflix. The kitchen is also be fully equipped with cooking ware, utensils, a coffee pot, a toaster, and a dining table with six chairs. The front yard has fresh grass and beautiful shrubs and relaxing lawn chairs so that you may sit back and soak in the panoramic view of the lake. There is also a new brick patio and firepit in the back yard.

Three 2-person kayaks & six life jackets are available from May to October free of charge. To use the kayaks, please request a waiver form after booking the trip which will be emailed to you.
In the garage, you will also find two zero-gravity lawn chairs. Feel free to take them to the front yard or the lake dock to sit back and enjoy the lake view, or to the private backyard for sunbathing, reading, naps... (Please return them to the garage hanging bar after each use)
For the firepit in the backyard, the closest place to get firewood is the BP gas station at 1211 W Rollins Rd, Round Lake Heights, IL 60073.
To explore 1,070 acres of beautiful trails and woods located two blocks away, walk to the right from the house. When you see the Grant Woods parking lot, turn right and head north across Rollins Rd to enjoy the Grant Woods South Trail. Bring your bikes if you can.
In front of the Grant Woods parking lot, you will also find a tiny lakefront park with a picnic table and a place to launch kayaks and boats.
If you go two blocks to the left from the house, you will find a small sand beach with a floating dock, and a place to launch larger boats.
