Summary: They kept calling me while I was working to ask when I’d be checking in and I told them 5 or 6 (2-3 hours after official check-in time). When I got there at 5 they said there had been an emergency preventing me from getting into my room but I could downgrade from a king to a twin bed if I wanted to get in right away. But there would be no price adjustment. I pressed them on it and sure enough, a room with a king bed magically appeared.
